In order to open a ZIP file you need to have either an application called WinZIP or an application called WinRAR. They should be available for free somewhere.

EXE files are not compatible with the Mac OS. But they are compatible with the Linux OS. Linux works on Macintosh computers.
Are you really using a Macintosh instead of a PC?
